My passion for sports and mental health developed over the years as I explored various sports, but it was strength training that truly shaped my growth. Fitness taught me resilience, confidence, and discipline, and revealed the powerful role the mind plays in performance and growth. This realization drove me to study psychology, earning a Bachelor of Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University. Since then, I have worked in psychology clinics and now at a trauma clinic, where I support client care, observe group therapy, and deepen my understanding of mindfulness and the mind-body connection.
Alongside my academic journey, I work as a fitness coach, providing personalized training programs to individuals with athletic performance, aesthetic, restorative mobility and injury prevention goals. I employ a motivational and empathetic coaching approach to address not only physical performance but also the mental factors, such as injury history, burnout, stress, and self-identity, that influence long-term success.
In January, I will begin my Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with the long-term goal of also becoming a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). This path enables me to bridge clinical expertise with applied performance psychology, ultimately supporting the personal growth of high achievers.
At the Mental Game Clinic, I have the opportunity to explore the impact of mental performance training. I contribute through research blogs on topics such as building emotional resilience, staying focused under pressure, coping with injury, and redefining success beyond outcomes. I am also looking to become the first point of contact for individuals seeking to initiate their therapeutic journey.
My performance interests include strength and conditioning, functional and athletic training, CrossFit, pilates, and yoga. Ultimately, my goal is to help athletes and high performers achieve their full potential by aligning their daily habits, mindset, and strategic tools.
