Who are you and what led you to this work?

I became a therapist because I’ve always been deeply curious about what drives people—especially high performers carrying invisible burdens while striving to excel. Having worked across high-pressure environments myself, I understand how success can sometimes mask exhaustion, self-doubt, or unresolved emotional pain. For athletes, executives, and performers alike, reconnecting with the inner world is often the key to unlocking true potential.

What is your approach to therapy or mental performance coaching?

My approach is collaborative and insight-oriented. Together, we explore unconscious patterns and internal narratives that shape how you show up—on the field, in relationships, or at work. I balance deep exploration with practical tools, tailoring each session to what you need in the moment.

I specialize in:

  • Sports & Performance Psychology: Performance anxiety, leadership development, burnout prevention, confidence building, and navigating high-stakes environments.

  • Clinical Counselling: Anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma (including intergenerational and workplace trauma), addictions, grief and loss, eating disorders, and self-esteem issues.

  • Life & Identity Challenges: Immigration stress, relationship and intimacy issues, boundary-setting, LGBTQ+ identity, and major life transitions.

Evidence-based methods or strategies I use

I draw on a wide range of evidence-based methods, including:

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Attachment-Based Therapy

  • EMDR Therapy

  • Insight-Oriented & Humanistic Approaches

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Family Systems

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

What to Expect in Sessions

In our first session, we’ll explore your goals, challenges, and what you hope to shift. This isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about curiosity, understanding, and identifying the patterns that deserve attention. You can expect a conversation that feels safe, respectful, and emotionally attuned.

One thing I wish more people knew about therapy or mental performance coaching

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy or mental performance coaching. Many high-functioning athletes and professionals assume they should just push through—but unacknowledged stress and emotion only build pressure. Therapy can be a strategic investment in performance, resilience, and fulfillment. It’s not just about coping—it’s about evolving.

What Makes My Work at The Mental Game Unique

I combine deep emotional insight with practical strategies for performance. My work helps athletes and high achievers move beyond surface-level fixes, uncovering the deeper drivers of stress, burnout, or performance blocks. The result is lasting change—not just achieving goals, but achieving them with balance, confidence, and clarity.
