What’s one thing you wish more people knew about therapy or mental performance coaching?
One thing I wish more people knew is that therapy isn’t just for times of crisis—it can be a proactive way to strengthen your mindset, relationships, and overall well-being. Just like investing in professional development, therapy helps you stay ahead of challenges and create long-term resilience. Whether in your personal life or your career, it provides the tools to navigate stress, transitions, and obstacles with greater confidence and clarity.

Who are you and what led you to this work?
I’ve always been passionate about supporting people in overcoming obstacles and living more fulfilling lives. With a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Guelph, I bring both academic rigor and compassion to my work. My background includes internships at the McGill Counselling and Psychoeducational Clinic and the Argyle Institute in Montreal, as well as post-graduate training in Sex and Couples Therapy at the University of Guelph.

Before joining The Mental Game Clinic, I worked in private practice in Toronto, supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. What drives me is helping clients recognize patterns that may be holding them back and empowering them to shift toward healthier, more intentional ways of being.

What is your approach to therapy or mental performance coaching?
My style is integrative and client-centered, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. I see therapy as a collaborative relationship where we explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors together. My approach is systemic and trauma-informed, ensuring that sessions are safe, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs.

What areas do you focus on?
• Relationship and intimacy dynamics
• Communication challenges and trust-building
• Sexual concerns and fulfillment
• Anxiety, self-esteem, and resilience
• Stress, grief, and burnout
• Life transitions and personal growth

What types of clients do you typically work with?
I work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, and professionals who are striving to grow in both their personal and professional lives. I especially enjoy working with leaders, executives, and high performers who want to strengthen their relationships, manage stress more effectively, and sustain performance without sacrificing well-being.

How do you help clients overcome mental roadblocks and perform at their best?
Often clients come to therapy with one struggle, only to discover that deeper patterns or past experiences are shaping their present challenges. I help uncover these roadblocks and reframe them so clients can move forward with more freedom and clarity. Through skill-building, emotional insight, and cognitive strategies, clients develop psychological flexibility, stronger communication, and the confidence to navigate both personal and professional demands.

What evidence-based methods or strategies do you use?
I integrate psychodynamic, emotion-focused, and cognitive-behavioral methods, along with systemic and trauma-informed approaches. This flexibility allows me to tailor sessions to each client’s goals, whether they’re focused on healing past wounds, enhancing relationships, or cultivating resilience in high-pressure environments.

What can a client expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brings you here and what you’d like to achieve. I’ll take time to learn about your context, background, and goals, while also creating space for you to share openly at your own pace. From there, we’ll begin to map out your goals and identify strategies to support meaningful change. My aim is for you to feel heard, understood, and empowered from the very beginning.

What makes your work at The Mental Game unique?
What excites me about The Mental Game Clinic is the collaboration among such a diverse and talented team. By combining clinical expertise with performance psychology, we create an environment where clients can heal, grow, and also optimize how they show up in their personal and professional lives. My work focuses on strengthening relationships and resilience, but also on helping clients cultivate leadership presence, decision-making clarity, and sustainable performance in the workplace.
