What’s one thing you wish more people knew about therapy or mental performance coaching?
I wish more people knew that therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms—it’s about transformation. The therapeutic process can help you uncover patterns, build resilience, and tap into strengths you didn’t know you had. It’s not only about getting through hard times but also about learning how to thrive in all areas of life, including your professional and leadership roles.
Who are you and what led you to this work?
Life’s challenges often lead us down unfamiliar roads, triggering emotions that can feel overwhelming. I became a psychotherapist because I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to help people navigate these challenges with greater clarity and resilience. Since starting my practice in 2013, I’ve been dedicated to helping individuals uncover the underlying patterns that shape their thoughts and behaviours, and supporting them in their journey toward growth and transformation.
I hold certifications in trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR and Integral Somatic Psychology, and my approach is also informed by CBT, Dance and Movement Therapy, Art Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapies. My fascination with the mind-body connection inspires me to guide clients toward greater self-awareness and holistic well-being.
What is your approach to therapy or mental performance coaching?
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client. I combine evidence-based strategies with body-focused practices, recognizing that the body holds wisdom that deeply influences emotional well-being. In sessions, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences safely. This blend of techniques allows clients to build resilience, process trauma, and strengthen emotional regulation in a way that supports both personal healing and professional performance.
What areas do you focus on?
• Anxiety and stress management
• Trauma and distressing memories
• Relationship challenges and communication
• Emotional regulation and resilience
• Personal growth and self-awareness
• Mind-body integration for well-being
• Enhancing leadership presence and adaptability
What types of clients do you typically work with?
I work with individuals who want to better understand themselves, whether they are navigating trauma, anxiety, or personal transitions. I also support professionals, leaders, and high performers who want to enhance their resilience, improve their emotional intelligence, and maintain balance while leading in high-pressure environments.
How do you help clients overcome mental roadblocks and perform at their best?
I help clients uncover the patterns—both psychological and physical—that may be holding them back. By integrating mind-body practices with evidence-based therapies, clients learn to process emotions, regulate stress, and build adaptive coping skills. These shifts not only support personal healing but also strengthen performance in demanding roles, whether that means leading teams, making high-stakes decisions, or maintaining focus under pressure.
What evidence-based methods or strategies do you use?
I draw on EMDR, Integral Somatic Psychology, CBT, Art Therapy, Dance and Movement Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based approaches. By combining these modalities, I can tailor sessions to meet each client’s goals, whether they are seeking trauma recovery, emotional resilience, or sustainable performance strategies.
What can a client expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, clients can expect a compassionate, collaborative conversation. I’ll invite you to share what brings you in, while we explore your goals, challenges, and strengths. My aim is to create a safe space where you feel supported from the beginning, and where we can start building a roadmap for the changes you’d like to see in your life.
What makes your work at The Mental Game unique?
At The Mental Game Clinic, my work integrates clinical depth with performance-focused strategies. What makes it unique is how I combine trauma-informed care with practices that strengthen resilience and adaptability. I help clients not only heal from past experiences but also develop the mindset and emotional skills they need to perform with clarity, confidence, and presence in their everyday lives—whether in personal relationships or in the business world.
Performance Interests
Beyond my therapeutic work, I find joy and balance in creative expression. Music is my antidote to stress—I love singing songs in my native language. Dancing is another personal therapy, and during my college years I also participated in theatrical performances, which continue to inspire me when I attend shows today. In quieter moments, I enjoy writing poems and reflections, finding meaning in stillness and creativity.
