As an organizational and clinical psychologist, I focus on both the individual and the systems in which the individual is embedded. I draw from my expertise in behaviour change and systems theory, along with my clinical training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to partner with individuals in gaining insight and creating change. My approach is collaborative and insight-driven, designed to help clients increase awareness, build resilience, and align their actions with their values.

I am passionate about working across different sectors, supporting employees, leaders, and executives in their day-to-day interactions within organizations, and I have a deep commitment to those in healthcare, social services, higher education, and law enforcement, where stress and burnout run particularly high. I am dedicated to addressing the delicate and complex situations often avoided in workplaces yet which have significant impact. Developing awareness, management strategies, and tools to recover from trauma, harassment, bullying, and incivility is a core area of my practice, as is helping individuals and organizations navigate mental health and psychological safety at work.

I wish more people knew that therapy and coaching are not only about addressing personal challenges; they are also powerful tools for navigating the complexities of the workplace. Issues like stress, burnout, and unresolved conflict do not just affect individuals; they ripple across teams and organizations. Investing in your mental well-being is about building resilience, improving leadership, and creating the psychological safety that allows people and organizations to thrive.

I am a generalist at heart. I began my career as a child and adolescent clinical psychologist dedicated to community-engaged partnerships, and over the last decade I have focused on organization and industry partnerships to meet priorities in leadership wellness, recruitment and retention, and broader human resources and occupational health and safety functions. In our first session, I work to understand both your individual goals and the broader systems and contexts that shape your experience. Together we clarify your challenges and explore the values that will guide our work, in a session that is collaborative, practical, and aimed at identifying actionable steps for change.

Performance Interests: As a teenager, I was a competitive athlete at the national level in Canada. My three teenagers have all pursued competitive sports, and I am an avid spectator and informal performance coach to players and coaches alike. I strongly believe in the role of organized sports in exposing teens to important life lessons about collective identity, perseverance, grit, dealing with failure, and conflict resolution.

As adults, learning and honing performance takes on a new dimension, though the opportunities for growth remain for those who are willing. In my work, I often support and guide individuals as they enact change, address burnout, and manage difficult people, emphasizing the alignment between actions and personal values to achieve a purposeful experience at work and in life.
