What’s one thing you wish more people knew about therapy or mental performance coaching?

Reaching out for the first time can be a significant step.  One thing I wish more people knew is that therapy isn’t just for when things fall apart—it can be a powerful space for growth, clarity, and self-discovery. You don’t need to have a crisis to benefit. In fact, many high-functioning individuals use therapy to refine their mindset, deepen self-awareness, and align more fully with their values. Reaching out is not a sign of weakness—it’s a courageous step toward living with greater intention and ease.

Who are you and what led you to this work?

I’ve always held a deep curiosity about the human condition, and sought to understand how to navigate this life, supporting our mind, heart and body in the best possible way. With over 15 years of experience, I’m passionate about supporting people on their journey toward healing, growth, and greater wholeness. I believe each person has an inner drive to move toward health, even in the face of pain or struggle.

My approach is integrative and flexible. I draw from mindfulness-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and both humanistic and psychodynamic traditions. This allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs and guide you toward a more grounded, fulfilling life.

In my experience, knowledge builds agency. That’s why I often incorporate psychoeducation, practical strategies, and an active, collaborative relationship into the process—so you, the client, feel empowered and supported as you navigate life’s transitions and challenges.

My academic background includes a Specialist BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto, an MA in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and extensive training in Clinical Psychology from Tel Aviv University.

What is your approach to therapy or mental performance coaching?

My style is informed by both mindfulness based approaches as well as psychodynamic psychotherapy.  I meet each client where they are at, whether it’s long term or short term support, and love including skills based interventions.

What areas do you focus on?

• Relationship and interpersonal difficulties

What types of clients do you typically work with?

I typically work with executives, professionals and high performers.

How do you help clients overcome mental roadblocks and perform at their best?

I help clients through skill training, fostering self awareness, emotion regulation and psychological flexibility.  Together, we work to clarify values, develop adaptive coping tools, and create sustainable mindset shifts that support both well-being and high performance.

What evidence-based methods or strategies do you use?

I work with Mindfulness based strategies including MBCT, MBSR and ACT, as well as EMDR, psychodynamic psychotherapy and performance psychology techniques.

What can a client expect in their first session with you?

In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative conversation focused on understanding what brings you in and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals, while also creating space for you to share at your own pace. My aim is to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you feel safe, heard, and respected. We’ll begin to clarify what matters to you and explore how we can work together to support meaningful change.

What makes your work at The Mental Game unique?

What makes my work at The Mental Game unique is the integration of clinical depth with a mindful, practical approach to performance and well-being. I bring over 15 years of experience in psychotherapy, blending evidence-based methods like ACT, EMDR, and mindfulness with a deep understanding of the emotional lives of high-functioning individuals. Whether we’re working on stress, confidence, or clarity of direction, I create a space that’s focused, compassionate, and grounded in your real-life goals—helping you move forward with greater self-awareness, resilience, and purpose.
