The pressures and demands of everyday life can leave us vulnerable to anxiety, depressive thoughts, perfectionistic tendencies, self-doubt, and other concerns. Particularly, school, work, sport, and performance settings can come with extra pressures and demands.

Starting therapy is a big step. I will honour your unique needs, work with you to complement the strengths you already have, and offer alternative perspectives to help you navigate difficulties you are experiencing. I take a client-centered approach to work alongside you to achieve your goals. We will work towards recognizing challenges such as your inner-critic, thoughts of self-doubt and feelings of loss of identity. Together, we will implement strategies to help you maintain and enhance your performance and your mental health.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University as well as my Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta.  Utilizing an integrated, person-centered approach, I recognize that everyone has unique and complex parts of themselves. Through this lens, I will act as your guide and support, helping you to accept and then shape your thoughts and feelings. This process of identifying existing strengths and restructuring negative thoughts can be very powerful tools to rewrite your story. I will explore these unique and complex parts with you to help identify the mindset you need to move forward and work toward the mental space you want to be in to achieve your goals.

Performance Interests: I am currently competing at an international level in the sport of Curling. When I am not competing, training, or working I enjoy spending time with my family and my two dogs.
