Most of my clients are already at the top of their game. They know that if they make a few mental shifts, they will be well on their way to greatness. Here is the problem: with all the pressure they are dealing with, self-doubt, stress, and low confidence creep in. At times they struggle with motivation and focus, feel paralysed by indecision, and hesitate when they need to act. Sound like you? I can help.

As a psychologist with a deep background in clinical and sport and performance psychology, I work almost exclusively with high-performing founders, executives, teams, and pro athletes around the world. Together we will identify how your mind is sabotaging your performance. I will teach you how to take charge of your emotional state and maintain your focus so you can lead better under pressure. You will learn how to recover faster from setbacks and how to shift from self-doubt to complete confidence when everything is on the line. I can also help your team handle stress, navigate conflict, and maintain cohesion so they can get the job done.

My work spans stress, burnout, and performance anxiety; confidence and self-doubt; motivation, focus, and decision-making; leadership under pressure; team dynamics and conflict resolution; and recovery from setbacks. I integrate emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive-behavioural interventions, and tools drawn from sport psychology, tailored to each client. My approach is practical, goal-focused, and designed to create lasting change rather than surface-level fixes.

I know how to do this because I have studied how the mind works for over 20 years. I first became a registered clinical psychologist in 2004 in South Africa, where I developed my practice, before moving to Toronto, where I am now registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and am a member of the Ontario Psychological Association. With the power of online work, I support clients wherever they are. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Stellenbosch University and a Graduate Certificate in Sport Psychology from the John F. Kennedy School of Psychology at National University, and I am a professional member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. There is nothing like seeing my clients go from mentally and emotionally stuck to on top of the world.

I also have extensive experience as a supervisor and am passionate about mentoring the next generation of high-calibre, quality therapists.

Performance Interests: I compete in amateur Taekwondo and enjoy tennis, badminton, boxing, tai chi, and yoga. I was an avid runner until injuries became an issue, but movement and performance remain a big part of my life. My other career is as a visual artist, and I also write poetry, with dreams of publishing an anthology someday. These pursuits reflect my belief in creativity, discipline, and resilience, values I bring into my work with clients.
